Children’s Care
· We are happy to see your child after the first few teeth arrive
or earlier if there is a concern.
· Our goal is to help the child remain cavity free by screening for
risk factors for dental disease.
· Homecare methods will be reviewed and encouraged.
· Our first visit with the child is meant to be educational,
positive, and valuable for all involved.
· An examination, however brief, will be completed and this often
requires the caregiver’s participation when the child is young.
· We are prepared to treat early childhood caries and/or make a
referral for care to a specialist if necessary. |
